As the sun shines over these beautiful mountains I call my home, my heart aches for all the suffering that is still prevalent on our planet. Here I am, safe, well-fed, surrounded by peace and natural beauty, while Mother Earth and so many of her inhabitants struggle because of the myths we have been conditioned to believe. This myths have bred the lack of consciousness that has allowed us to terrorize each other and mutilate the natural world.
Fires are raging on the West Coast and in parts of Colorado. Weather patterns are bizarre. COVID is still around, and has brought not only hardship and illness but an intensification of the strange social divisions that currently exist in this country. People of color are clamoring for safely, respect and fairness, while others show up at counter demonstrations with machine guns and threats.
We so need help! And the help needs to come from within each of us. Each and everyone of you reading this newsletter has chosen at a soul level to incarnate on this planet at this particular point in history because you have gifts, wisdom and inner light which can shift the course of history. Those gifts and that inner light radiates out from our hearts, spreading healing and hope. It is this light of consciousness which will propel our evolution forward. It is far more powerful than the forces resisting this change, but only if we meet and clear the aspects of those forces which are reflected within us, and keep focused on our intent to share our gifts with courage and clarity.
And so this is a call to action. Both inner and outer. Look within to find anything which still is limiting you, anything holding you in old wounds, habits or fears. Look within too, for inspiration, deeper levels of compassion and creativity which invoke your unique contribution to uplifting our world. Ask for direction and then as direction arises, commit to following it no matter how unsettling or scary it might seem. We are at a critical turning point, a point that this planet has faced many times in pre-history, a point where the evolution of the human soul can step into its highest expression, but only if we are willing to do what we have come here to do. And that ‘doing’ will look different for all of us: for some we may step into a much larger arena of influence, for others, we may have more subtle but no less important a job.
